Mildura Region Trade Training Centre

About the program / partnership

In November 2010, the Mildura Region Trade Training Centre Consortium was granted $11.8m funding for the Trade Training Centre.

NMLLEN played a key role in the Consortium bid that took over two years of campaigning and hard work by the Consortium members plus local industry representatives and community leaders.

The funding has been used to develop new and improved facilities for young people to obtain skills, qualifications and expanded pathways to training in the region.

The opening of the Deakin Trade Training Centre at Mildura Senior College on 30 April 2014 was the culmination of many years of a successful and fruitful partnership for the Northern Mallee.  Congratulations to all concerned with this project.
