NMLLEN brokers partnerships in the Northern Mallee region to help young people find successful pathways in education, training and employment.


To be a key contributor to the rise in the number of young people finishing Year 12 or equivalent in the region.

NMLLEN Mission

Northern Mallee Local Learning and Employment Network (NMLLEN) brokers strategic partnerships with community stakeholder groups resulting in better outcomes in education, training and employment for young people aged 10 -19 years old.

NMLLEN was established in 2001 and is one of 31 LLENs across Victoria. NMLLEN’s region covers the Mildura Rural City Council LGA and Robinvale (Swan Hill Rural City Council LGA).

A key focus of NMLLEN is to develop partnerships with key stakeholder groups including education, industry and community.

NMLLEN is funded by the  Victorian Government.

NMLLEN is also supported by the Victorian Government through the Structured Workplace Learning Program.

NMLLEN’s Board of Management comprises 20 representatives from 11 membership categories.
